This past Saturday, Magnolia XC hosted its Inaugural Run the Dog Pound XC Invitational with over 770 participants from high school to junior high. It was a huge success in large part to all the students, athletes, parents, and trainers that came out to support and help run it off. We thank you!

The Lady Bulldogs saw the return of Junior Emma Ellis who dominated the Varsity Girls 2 mile in a time 12:33.52. In the Varsity Girls 5k, we saw a dominate performance from Freshman Ashlee Glover who finished 2nd in a time of 21:33.51. Ashlee had the won the JV Girls 5k the week prior at the Sam Houston Region Preview by over minute from 2nd place. She was followed by teammates Julia High, Anjoely Ramirez, Alexis Madden, Kesley Stewart, Abigail Ray, and Tori Viator.

JV Girls ran a 2 mile course that was led by Freshman Lauryn Baeza. Not far behind was Natalie Lawson, followed by Carla Rodriguez, Avery Cox, Alexandra Zermeno, and Jadyn Wilkerson.
