11/10/2019 — Despite Oak Ridge High School defeating the Bulldogs this past Wednesday night at the Michael D. Holland Aquatic Center, there’s lots to celebrate as nine freshmen and sophomores placed in the top three to complement wins from four juniors.

TOP INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

Juniors Jada Shorter, Jett Lively and McKinley Mouton were winners on Wednesday, when the Bulldogs faced a larger team of War Eagles. Shorter and Lively won their one-meter dive events, while Mouton was a double-winner with victories in the 200-yard individual medley and 500-yard free.

Senior Erica Field and juniors Tristan Lashbrook and Cooper Waybright supported these winning performances with top-three finishes of their own.

Freshmen Madison Barber, Jamian Lebron, Tanner Howse, Paige Moran, Dylan Gregg, Brooke Reinecke, and Ellie Spooner all joined sophomores Sara Stinebaugh and Oscar Montes as top-three finishers. The freshmen and sophomore performances signal a bright future for the team.

See below for a complete listing of top-three individual and relay performances. Full results are posted on the team’s homepage and the on Booster club site.

NEXT UP

The divers are in action next as they compete at the Texas Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (TISCA) Invite, hosted by The Woodlands High School, on Nov. 21 at the Conroe I.S.D. Natatorium. A group of eligible swimmers, who have made time standards, will be traveling to Mansfield, TX on Nov. 22 and 23 for the TISCA Lone Star Classic. The prelim/final meet brings several teams from the Austin and Dallas areas together for the two-day meet.

Before the Christmas break, the Bulldogs will travel on Dec. 3 to the Tomball I.S.D. Aquatic Center for at tri-meet against Tomball Memorial and Bridgeland.
